Job Shadowing

The Job Shadow Program pairs a student with a professional in a business or career that is of interest to the student.  The student goes to the host’s place of employment to “shadow” a professional and learn more about what that career is really like.  This program has helped many students decide whether or not they want to pursue a certain occupation.  Job shadowing helps prepare the future workforce by showing students what it is like to be out in the working world.  Job shadows are scheduled at the convenience of the host for all or part of one day.  Students must provide their own transportation to and from the host’s site.
